The Z-axis of the coordinate measuring machine is up to 4,200 mm high. Due to the special design, the measuring range starts directly above the base plate. For an even larger measuring volume, the RAX can be designed as a duplex machine. Typically, the RA measuring machine is installed flush with the floor in a foundation for easy accessibility. High rigidity and high-precision guides ensure the most accurate measurement results. The horizontal arm measuring machine can be equipped with the latest Renishaw sensor systems, such as the PH10M and the stepless PHS, touch-trigger probes and a wide range of optical sensors.
