Using the Active Head function, the fast scanning movements are performed by the stepless axes of the head, while the machine axes perform slower movements. This ensures reliable results even with large extensions and, through the head touch function, fast single-point scans.

The stepless axes provide maximum workpiece accessibility with minimal need for probe changes, probe material and calibration time. The interchangeable roughness sensor with sixth axis turns the measuring machine into a surface measuring device. In conjunction with the user-friendly WM | Quartis measuring software, the REVO offers unprecedented speed and flexibility.
